LA LOGGIA SRL: PROMOTIONAL OBJECTIVE OF THE REGION La Loggia srl is a company founded with the objective of promoting the region. The area around Matelica is rich in history, art, and wine traditions. The idea of creating specific tours was born with reference to the experiences of other regions, starting from the guided tours of the natural scenery leading to appreciate all the typical features and peculiarities of the area. THE MANAGER The tours are coordinated by Orietta Paolucci. She was born in Senigallia in the province of Ancona in 1968, graduated with a degree in Foreign Languages and Modern Literature, and is a member of the Order of Italian Journalists. Linked to the territory by a deep love she has ten years experience in catering, four of which were in Rimini, and a year in Prato. Currently, the family manages the osteria-pizzeria La Loggia degli Ottoni, right in the Piazza Enrico Mattei which has a wonderful loggia built in the 15th century. PRECIOUS COLLABORATION , chef Alessandro Gentilucci The organization relies on the valuable collaboration of Doctor Claudio Modesti, renowned expert for the regional and national food industry. Author Dr.Claudio Modesti has written three books: "Honeys unifloral meet traditional Italian cheeses (Geronimo Editor)," Lo spignolo in the kitchen: a truffle epigeo? "" The truffles in the kitchen " both by HACC Editor (link to site). He is one of the greatest connoisseurs of truffles of the region, sommelier and wine taster of the Association of Italian Sommelier (AIS), and has held numerous courses and wine pairings with food, and chairman of the Regional Commission of Tasting of the AIS. His collaboration and supervision ensures maximum reliability of the courses and all related activities. Chef Alessandro Gentilucci follows the teaching of famous dr. Caludio Modesti, with technique and passion. CERTIFICATION L'osteria-pizzeria La Loggia degli Ottoni is certified by the Instituto Mediterraneo di Certificazione (link to site), to attest to the use of certified organic products. This is a certification process of quality that protects the consumer. Companies certified to be visited during the gastronomic tours, certified products will be used during cooking courses, the truffles will be sought directly by the participants of the course or will come from the truffle farm of Doctor Claudio Modest.
