Learn to make handmade pasta, learn to combine sauces with traditional pasta recipes to the best suited wine. Tours are offered for both individuals and groups, with different proposals for price and content that start from euro 249 for a special WeekEnd Special. Price for 3 Day or 5 Day courses start from euro 550. The programs can be modified depending on the needs of participants.

Wine Tours: The Discovery of Verdicchio di Matelica from euro 125

Verdicchio di Matelica DOC is a white wine with unique character, tarty, fruity, and clear wine. Pale straw yellow colour with hints of apple, hawthorn and broom. It is of limited production that is attracting attention from around the world. You will visit the most important wineries, you will meet the producers, walk in the vineyards and learn the production techniques especially processing to "Gujot" the double inverted method. Verdicchio of Matelica is a niche product that is becoming more and more appreciated thanks to its superior quality and ability to preserve itself in bottles.

We start the tour with a visit to the Centre of Sensory Analysis to rediscovery your own five senses. The rediscovery of your senses is developed and refined using a form of "sensory analysis", a university discipline that goes beyond simply tasting and forming real "specialists in taste." The visit is the introduction to this wonderful world of Verdicchio wine.

Gastronomic Tour of Unique Flavours of an uncontaminated Region from euro 180

The territory of Matelica is not only dedicated to Verdicchio Wine, but the particular morphology of the territory has always provided a habitat suitable for farming, breeding cattle, and evolving the Fabriano sheep stock. Pig farming has also evolved as the unusual spreadable salami called Ciauscolo has gained popularity, together with the increasing recognition of lardellato and liver sausage. The production of local and excellent cheeses are uniquelly combined with honey and Sap,a syrup made from the grape must. This tour  includes visits to production facilities of typical foods guaranteed and certified for quality. In order to fully appreciate the experience we start this tour with a visit to the Centre for Sensory Analysis to rediscovery our five senses.
